Our History
Our business was started by the training of smallholder farmers on good agronomic practices and cocoa certification for seven (7) years. We realized that more than 60 % of cocoa farmers are more than 60 years old and are unable to manage their farms well. We therefore made it a mandate to provide a holistic farm management service to these farmers in order to aid them maximize their yields.
Over the past few years we have transformed from a focused farm management business model into an artisanal value addition brand. Our philosophy of “Husk to Bar” is something we are passionate about and have come to embrace at Asaase Pa Food Systems Limited. This is because we are committed to excellent sustainable farm management services. While showcasing the best cocoa management practices we are committed to supporting local and international cocoa management practices and chocolate processing standards as well as embracing Fair Trade, sustainability with a holistic and integrated approach to chocolate processing with zero tolerance to waste along our value chain
